Lokah Samasthah Sukinoh Bhavantu - "May all beings in the universe experience happiness"ARE YOU LOOKING FOR ME? I AM IN THE NEXT SEAT. MY SHOULDER IS AGAINST YOURS. YOU WILL NOT FIND ME IN STUPAS, NOT IN INDIAN SHRINE ROOMS, NOR IN SYNAGOGUES, NOR IN CATHEDRALS: NOT IN MASSES, NOR KIRTANS, NOT IN LEGS WINDING AROUND YOUR OWN NECK, NOR IN EATING NOTHING BUT VEGETABLES. WHEN YOU REALLY LOOK FOR ME, YOU WILL SEE ME INSTANTLY - YOU WILL FIND ME IN THE TINIEST HOUSE OF TIME. KABIR SAYS: STUDENT, TELL ME, WHAT IS GOD? HE IS THE BREATH INSIDE THE BREATH. - KABIR, 15TH CENTURY MASTER

know thyself the sages say

know thyself the sages say

plumb the depths of deep compassion for yourself and others
nurture yourself, flourish in your own love affair with yourself
and find that the more you fall in love with yourself,
the more you fall in love with the magnificent
abundance of the world of myriad forms
colors and infinite _expression
be here they say right here
right now is all we need
to focus on
to find
yourself

"Man is the mirror which God holds up to himself, or the sense organ with which he apprehends his being." C.G.Jung

"A human being is part of a whole, called by us the Universe, a part limited in time and space. He experiences himself, his thoughts and feelings, as something separated from the rest--a kind of optical delusion of his consciousness. This delusion is a kind of prison for us, restricting us to our personal desires and to affection for a few persons nearest us. Our task must be to free ourselves from this prison by widening our circles of compassion to embrace all living creatures and the whole of nature in its beauty."
~ Albert Einstein

"If the positive innovations connect exponentially before the massive breakdowns reinforce oneanother, the system can repattern itself to a higher order of consciousness and freedom without the predicted economic, environmental, or social collapse."  Barbara Marx Hubbard

"I slept and dreamt that life was joy. I awoke and saw that life was service. I acted and beheld that service was joy." - Tagore

PS - GANESHPURI BRAINSTORM: (vijaya inspired prosaic musings)

came to me in meditation today. big time. gotta work with mark griffin in tansa valley and ganeshpuri. we gotta help those people who are living on $1 per day. how?

giving them things is limited. give them enterprise, commerce and sustainable agriculture. microcredit loan programs and infrastructure investments with renewable energy and a living systems approach for medicine, agriculture and sewage treatment. could also do something in partnership with  gurumayi's organization Prasad Project which has been working in the region for decades: http://www.siddhayoga.org/projects_support/prasad/index.html

we could have the valley growing ayurvedic herbs we can partner with Amma's organization and set up colleges in the region, amma already has an ayurvedic institute in kerala,  http://archives.amritapuri.org/news/bday2004/ayurveda.php and I met a guru who is a disciple of nityananda who has an ayurvedic pharmacy on the top of a mountain in the valley near ganeshpuri.

We also restore the original brahmin culture, astrology, temples, goddess worship, plant medicine,... full integrated philanthropic entrepreneurship

A poem I wrote on Feb 26 2005

A month ago I returned from my first trip to Ganeshpuri after so many years, never having visited before now.

I sat in Baba's Samadhi Shrine and wept for three hours, felt the light blast from Bhagavan Nityananda's Samadhi shrine and Gurumayi's warm friendly welcome. Not to forget the Bhadrakali Shrine on the road between nor to forget Sri Sri Sri Vajreshwari Devi.

Then to Nityananda Caves and Guruvan Ashram in Kanhangad Kerala, full of radically raw Young Nityananda Kali energy.

Down to Devi Shrines and Snake Temples in Central Kerala to arrive at Amma's ashram on Christmas day - the day of the birth of "our Lord"

Tsunami hit the next day and all was washed away with a tsunami of love, leaving only the clean clear face of a radiant beaming child in my camera lens.
